This photo definitely sums up our day extremely well. Jackson finally cut his first tooth and he has been so crabby!

This photo is his "crabby, teething" face. I got to see it all day, lucky me!

I only had my camera out for about 2 minutes today, right after this picture, I took Jackson upstairs and he took a 2.5 hour nap. He was much better after his nap, some Motrin and a biter biscuit.

Day 9 -- Snapshot Saturday

Um...Jackson? I think you're doing it wrong.

I'm thinking about doing themes for the different days of the week, or different themes for each week just so I don't run out of things to take pictures of...or have 354 pics of just Jackson at the end of the year.

SO...today was "Snapshot Saturday" (but really it's only snapshot Saturday because I forgot to take a picture while it was light out = had to use my flash = crappy pic)

...I just thought it was funny that Jackson would rather chew on the bottom of his sippy than drink out of it!

Today is definitely not anything to get excited about! I didn't get a good shot or do anything in photoshop today. The only reason I am even posting this picture is because it is of Jackson WALKING!

...Too bad I had my 50mm lens on my camera and couldn't scoot back fast enough to get him all in the frame...oh well! I still have 359 days to get one :)

Jackson has been walking a TON today. If he is standing and wants to go somewhere, he will walk...unless he gets distracted by something and has to get to it RIGHT THEN...then he gets down and crawls like a mad man.

Jackson and I played hard today -- he ended up falling asleep at 6pm and I fell asleep on the couch at 7. I just woke up a little bit ago which is why this wasn't posted earlier! Sorry!

Project 365 - Day 1

Happy New Year!

I know I stopped updating this blog but I'm starting again :)

There is something that a lot of people do with blogs and it's called "Project 365". Basically, you take a picture every day of the year and post it. I'm going to try to do it...don't laugh!

I'm hoping that this will help me get better with my camera and better in photoshop -- 2 things that I want to do in 2010!

I know I probably won't be able to post EVERY day so the rule that I made for myself is I have to take a picture every day and post 7 a week...so I might post 3 one day and 0 the next...but the 3 would be from different days.

I'll try to do every day as much as I can though :)

Jackson and I were playing today and I realized that I hadn't taken a picture for the day yet so this is just him playing...very exciting. (Sorry for the food up his nose!)

All I did with this picture was up the exposure a little in photoshop. I don't feel like playing much today :)
