Mommy's New Favorite Thing

Jackson is quite the hand full these days! He crawls everywhere, gets into whatever he can and pulls up on everything. It makes it pretty impossible to do anything! Ben was coming home from the work the other day and I asked him to stop at Toys R Us and pick up a Superyard.

Jackson didn't get to go Trick or Treating this year but he did help hand out the candy! I thought I had a video of him crawling up to the door but I don't, so here is Jackson getting around in his costume:

Jackson received 2 Halloween cards in the mail, 1 yesterday and 1 today! They were from Great Grandma Stovall and Great Grandma Stewart. They both have the same great taste in cards :) Here is Jackson showing off his cards:

Fall!

We went to Tuttle Orchard today and picked out our pumpkins!  We also got some apples, cheese, and blueberry loaf.

I got a new "Flip" digital video recorder and have been playing with it a lot today!

I swear Jackson will be crawling within the next couple of weeks.  Right now he goes around and round in a circle until he wears himself out.  He also can scoot forward to whatever toy he wants now.  He does this thing now where he hits everything...I think he likes the noise but it's really weird!  He'll just sit there and hit me, or his diaper, or his leg, or his toy, or his playmat...anything!  

This morning when I went to get him out of his crib, he was on his hands and knees.  Oh Lord.

Hi!  Sorry I suck at life and never update this blog anymore :)

To make up for it...here are eleventy billion pictures to cure your withdrawal!

First of all...here is one of the reasons why I haven't been updating:

Notice how far he moved in the time it took me to get his play mat out?  (In less than 30 seconds)

OH YA! And did you notice the cabinets in the kitchen?! When I got home from Fort Wayne on Sunday, they weren't brown anymore...they are white!  No all we have left to do in the kitchen is change the countertops so they are black but we painted and ben did the cabinets...

I obviously haven't been very good at updating!  I started a different blog, The Cloth Diaper Experiment and have been pretty busy with it!

Jackson is in cloth diapers now, doesn't he look cute?!

Jackson was in his car playing the other day while I was loading the dishwasher, when I was done I turned around and saw this:
It sure is hard work playing so much!
Little man had his 4 month Dr. appointment last week.  He is 26 inches long (90th percentile) and 14 lbs 5 oz (50th percentile).  His Dr. said we could start him on solids when ever we wanted so we gave him some rice cereal.  He's only had it 2 times so far and I don't think he's a big fan.


I'll try to be better about updating!

Play Dates Galore!

Today Cassidy and Caden came down to visit me and Jackson.  We hung out at home for awhile then went to a Gymboree class, got lunch and went shopping.  We were going to go to the zoo but we ran out of time!
